Tool · Meet & Discuss issue tracker
Every issue, every meeting, until it's closed
Management promises to look into it. Then the next meeting starts from scratch. The issue tracker keeps every open item in front of both sides — carried forward, on the agenda, and on the record.
How it works
One issue, followed across meetings
The minutes are already being kept. The tracker turns them into a running list of what was raised, what management said, and what is still open.
Step 01
Upload the minutes
After each Meet & Discuss, add the minutes or notes. Union Boss separates them into issues, each with a priority and a suggested next step.
Step 02
Issues carry forward
An issue raised in January is still on the list in March. Open issues lead the next meeting's agenda until they're settled.
Step 03
The minutes suggest a status
When the minutes read as if an issue was resolved, the tracker says so and quotes the line it's relying on.
Step 04
An officer decides
Nothing is closed by the software. An officer confirms or rejects every status change and can record why.
On the record
A history management can't talk around
When an issue comes back six months later, the board can see the first time it was raised, every meeting it came up in, and who closed it.
Pairs with overtime reconciliation when hiring errors become a standing agenda item.
- Every status change logged with who made it, when, and the reason given
- Suggested next steps: information request, grievance, side letter, monitor, or bargain
- Duplicate issues merged into one history instead of two half-records
- Executive board minutes kept apart from management minutes — internal business never mixes in
- Upcoming meetings scheduled on the Meet & Discuss calendar
